Growing up, my parents listened to classical music and Broadway musical soundtracks at home, so this was the music I heard as a kid. This gave me a pretty good knowledge of show tunes and their lyrics, like this one from the musical Oklahoma! It is a beautiful song and I think of it all the time when I see the August corn fields full this time of year.
