My brother Steve really wanted a pudding stone, an indigenous rock native to our part of Michigan (http://thepuddingstone.blogspot.com/2008/11/origin-of-puddingstone.html) My neighbor and friend Tim is a stoneworker and has a large collection of all sorts of rocks - he generously traded Steve this enormous puddingstone for one of Steve's hand made knives
