batch of lemongrass soap

I cleaned out my freezer last week and found a container of powdered lemongrass that I had bought in Seattle about 3 years ago and never used. Too interesting to throw away, I decided to add it to a batch of home made soap, and it came out great.  I love making soap - it is strangely similar to cheesemaking, with temperature, ingredients and chemistry all playing a role in the outcome. It will cure for several weeks and hopefully everyone reading this will get a bar.  My house smells amazingly lemony and herbal!
