kinda foodie meeting #3: grains



My awesome yoga sisters and I had another of our intermittent food meetings, today's topic being grains.  Clockwise from top:  Sarah's barley and chick pea salad, Margaret's wheat berry salad, and her raw steel cut oat ambrosia, my raw buckwheat crispy treats, and Lisa's amaranth cookies and plain cooked amaranth.  All of these women, besides being advanced Bikram yogis, know quite a bit about nutrition and healthy lifestyles, so these meetings provide us with a forum to exchange ideas and recipes.
